Before changing the industry, we need to focus on adapting our daily business routines and habits to actually change our behavior into what we consider a role model for others.
We aim to minimize our footprint towards being a carbon neutral business in 2022. On an organizational level, we are working on reducing our own use of resources to minimize our emissions.
Therefore, we created internal standards to guarantee reduction of energy and water usage and minimize waste within the office and event organization. Furthermore, we implemented a purchasing policy to guarantee we comply with our standards also during procurement. We are currently implementing a sustainability management system to clearly document our company’s carbon emissions.
Our staff is continuously trained regarding our standards and principles and builds the base to offering unique experiences compliant with our sustainable practices.

Certifications
We are working towards achieving internationally recognized certifications for our sustainable business approach within the tourism industry and in general. This is to further develop our concept in compliance with international standards and to guarantee the integrity of our approach.
Travelife
Im April 2020 sind wir Travelife beigetreten, einem international anerkannten, dreistufigen Zertifizierungsprogramm für Reiseveranstalter. Seit November 2020 sind wir mit dem Travelife Partner Award, dem zweiten Level, ausgezeichnet. Dieser ist eine Anerkennung für unser Engagement für soziale und ökologische Nachhaltigkeit. Wir erfüllen mehr als 100 Kriterien in Bezug auf Nachhaltigkeitsmanagement, Bürobetrieb, Lieferantenauswahl und -zusammenarbeit sowie Kundenkommunikation. Wir arbeiten an weiteren Verbesserungen, um in 2021 den Travelife Certified Status zu erreichen.

Carbonocero Zertifikat
Ein Teil unseres Versprechens die Umwelt zu schützen und zu regenerieren ist es, den ökologischen Fußabdruck unseres Unternehmens zu messen und zu reduzieren. Daher haben wir freiwillig unseren Fußabdruck (Scope 1 & 2) ermittelt und ein klares Ziel zur Reduktion desselben festgelegt. Hierzu haben wir unser Ergebnis für das vergangene Geschäftsjahr 2019 erhalten, zertifiziert durch unseren Kollaborationspartner Carbonocero, in Zusammenarbeit mit Biosphere, the Responsible Tourism Institute und Fundación Plan 21.
